Assurance qualité

Overview:

The Quality Assurance Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to enhance quality processes, monitor compliance with regulations and standards, conduct advanced risk assessments, manage audits, and develop strategies to achieve excellence in quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced quality assurance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and customer expectations.
  • Lead and manage internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with audit standards and implementing corrective actions.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and interpretation of quality data using statistical tools, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Implement a risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate quality risks across the organization.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to track quality performance, and develop advanced reporting mechanisms to communicate trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Lead the management review process to assess the effectiveness of the quality management system and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and execute inspection plans to monitor product quality and process effectiveness.
  • Implement statistical process control techniques to support process improvements.
  • Maintain quality agreements with suppliers and conduct periodic compliance assessments.
  • Develop and execute advanced training programs to enhance quality awareness and skills across the organization.
  • Design and evaluate mock-up plans for recalls, audits, business continuity, and contingency preparedness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.

Production Coordinator

Overview:

The Production Coordinator will be responsible in overseeing production activities, coordinating resources, maintaining quality standards, and facilitating communication between various departments to optimize workflow and meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with production managers to develop production schedules based on demand forecasts and resource availability.
  • Ensure timely execution of production plans and adjust schedules as needed to meet changing requirements.
  • Create job orders for production supervisors and machine operators based on production orders.
  • Follow up, monitor, and optimize the completion of job orders as scheduled.
  • Coordinate the availability of raw materials, equipment, and manpower to support production activities.
  • Monitor inventory levels and work closely with procurement to ensure adequate supplies are maintained.
  • Control and monitor the inventory of semi-finished items constantly.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to uphold product quality standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections throughout the production process, address any quality issues promptly, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety regulations within the production environment.
  • Conduct safety audits, promote a culture of safety awareness, and take proactive measures to mitigate workplace hazards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement within the production workflow.
  • Implement measures to streamline operations, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Facilitate effective communication between production teams, supervisors, quality control staff, and other relevant departments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address production challenges, resolve issues, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation to track progress, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance.
  • Generate production reports, analyze data trends, and provide insights to support decision-making processes.

Warehouse Officer

Overview:

The Warehouse Officer will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management, accurate order fulfillment, and a safe working environment. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock quantities, conducting regular physical counts, and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Generate regular reports on inventory levels, order fulfillment rates, and warehouse performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements within the warehouse.
  • Receive incoming shipments, inspect contents for quality and accuracy, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Process customer orders, pick and pack requested items accurately, and prepare them for shipment.
  • Prepare goods for storage or distribution, including labeling, packing, and coordinating transportation logistics.
  • Maintain a well-organized warehouse layout, utilizing appropriate shelving, binning, or palletizing techniques.
  • Implement safety measures and maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including health and safety standards, import/export requirements, and industry-specific guidelines.
  • Coordinate with procurement and sales departments to ensure adequate stock availability and timely order fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations and timely order processing.
  • Provide training and guidance to warehouse staff on standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and best practices.

Quality Control Officer

Overview:

The Quality Control Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all power cable products meet internal quality standards and comply with relevant national and international standards (such as IEC, BS, AWG, ASTM, NF C, etc.). This includes conducting inspections, performing routine testing, monitoring production processes, and collaborating with production teams to resolve quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect incoming raw materials such as copper/aluminum rods, XLPE, PVC, mica tape, armor wires, and sheathing compounds.
  • Check supplier certificates and verify material compliance (e.g., conductor purity, insulation properties, elongation %).
  • Reject or quarantine non-conforming materials and report discrepancies to purchasing/QA teams.
  • Drawing/Bunching/Stranding:
    • Measure conductor diameter, number of strands, and pitch length.
    • Confirm resistance per kilometer meets IEC or equivalent standards.
  • Extrusion (Insulation & Sheathing):
    • Verify insulation thickness, concentricity, and eccentricity.
    • Conduct spark tests inline, and monitor for burn marks or impurities.
    • Sample insulation for tensile strength, elongation, and aging tests.
  • Armoring:
    • Inspect coverage, overlap, and secure application of armor tape or wires.
  • Coiling & Packing:
    • Check coil length, weight, labeling, drum marking, and export packaging.
    • Ensure product traceability and match with internal batch records.
  • Perform final quality tests including high voltage withstands, insulation resistance, continuity and resistance measurements, and dimensional checks (OD, insulation thickness, etc.).
  • Prepare Routine/Type Test Reports (RTRs) and Certificates of Conformity (COCs).
  • Reject or hold non-compliant coils and initiate corrective actions.
  • Maintain real-time records of test results, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), calibration logs, and quality KPIs.
  • Use quality dashboards or ERP systems (e.g., SAP B1) to track and document compliance.
  • Ensure all measuring and testing equipment (e.g., micrometers, HV testers, resistance bridges) are calibrated and properly maintained.

  • Develop and track KPIs such as:
    • First Pass Yield (FPY) at each production stage.
    • % of batches passing type/routine tests on first attempt.
    • Number of NCRs raised and resolved monthly.
    • Average testing cycle time.
    • Internal audit closure rate.
